Cancer Prevention

Cancer is a major health issue in Ontario. Over half (50%) of cancers can be prevented.

There are many factors that may add to the chance of getting cancer such as: way of life, your family history, the environment. Here are some things that you can do that may help reduce your risk:

Alcohol - Limit Yourself

Artificial Tanning - Don't Use Tanning Beds

Nutrition - Eat for Health

Physical Fitness - Be Active

Sex - Practice Safe Sex

Smoking - Be Smoke Free

Sun - Reduce Exposure

Weight - Maintain a Healthy Body Weight
